9: 'Music Bank' record for being No. 1 for 9 consecutive weeks
SNSD, on KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank', has set a record for being number 1 for 9 weeks with their title song, 'Gee'. Last year, in February, Jewelry with 'One More Time', set a record of being number 1 for 7 weeks and that record has been broken a year later. SNSD, after being number 1 for 8 weeks said, "If we become number 1 for the 9th week, the 9 members will take pictures with the 9 trophies." and the light joke has become reality.
10: 100,000 albums + 1 billion won music + 10 advertisements
SNSD, with their first mini-album, set a record for selling over 100k albums. According to the company, SM Entertainment, the profit of just albums, is about 1 billion won. SNSD, with the first studio album released in November 2007 and the first mini-album, has had the opportunity to consecutively sell over 100k albums twice.
The sales of their music are estimated to be 1 billion won. According to SK Communications, the total 'Gee' ringtones and caller rings have surpassed 1,240,000 downloads. Cyworld minihompys' background music (BGM) have surpassed a record-breaking 350k downloads. Due to SNSD's popularity, they are exclusive models for beverage products, cosmetic products, uniforms, etc. and have appeared in more than 10 advertisements.
1536: The number of shows, 1536 episodes
SNSD, with 'Gee', have vigorously done more broadcasts than ever. The total number of shows from sites' air monitors show that in two months, SNSD have been on a record of 1536 episodes of shows with 'Gee'. (Radio, satelite-DMB TV, cable TV). The sole appearances on satelite-DMB KBS, MBC, SBS alone have been 83 episodes. Compared to the earlier hit song 'SNSD' with only 68 episodes, they've been on 20 times more episodes. The song 'Himnae' is already a record with 198 episodes, proof of a successful mini-album promotion.
SM Entertainment, on the topic of SNSD's activity says, "The best outcome of 'Gee', is that regardless of age, it's receiving love from everyone." and "The fact that the 'SNSD's style' fashion and dance was a topic of discussion, is something that has changed this time around."

SNSD's Interview in Thailand
The dance steps for "Gee" are very cool, can you please dance a bit for us?
(The girls proceeded to perform "Gee")
Has Super Junior or SHINee talked to you about Thailand before?
Sunny: They both told us that the weather in Thailand was very hot and that we should wear short-sleeved T shirts. They also told us about the warm hospitality shown by the Thai fans and told us not to worry about our welcome reception at both the airport and the hotel but instead to concentrate on perfecting our performances. Both Super Junior and SHINee are extremely popular in Thailand so we treated them like sunbaenims when asking about Thailand.
Hyoyeon: I heard that Thailand's fruits are very delicious, and had always wanted to try them. Now that I'm in Thailand, I eat lots of them everyday and I love them very much.
How did you feel about yesterday's Pattaya International Music Festival?
Tiffany: We were very happy that the fans were so welcoming in their responses. As the Pattaya International Music Festival is a major event in Thailand, we were honoured to be here as Korea's representative. We had a very good time in Thailand, and we hope to come again next year for the festival.
Yuri: We sang "Gee" with the fans yesterday, and I was really excited and touched by all our fans.
Now that you are in Pattaya, what other interesting activities are you engaging in?
Sooyoung: Yesterday we rode on elephants which was a first for everyone. At first I was a bit fearful but once on the elephant it became very interesting! The zoo also had an elephant show, and I was so amazed at the intelligence shown by them.
Yuri: I went for a Thai massage yesterday... it was so comfortable that I wished I could do it again.
How do you feel about having your first official fan meeting in Thailand today?
Seohyun: I'm very excited and thankful to meet them. We've all wanted to come to Thailand as early as possible ever since we were amazed by videos of Thai fans dancing "Gee".
Since this is your 2nd time in Thailand, can you speak some Thai to us?
Seohyun: I'm very glad to meet each of you.
Hyoyeon: Let's sing a song together
Sunny: I love each and every one of you, I love you!
Yuri: I miss everyone very much. (laughs)
Jessica: Thank you very much.
Tiffany: Is everyone feeling happy?
Taeyeon: I love everyone.
Tiffany: (interjects) We will learn more in the future.
Lastly, please say something to your Thai fans.
Sooyoung: We are very happy to have our Thai fans because without your support and love, we wouldn't be able to clinch the top music spot in Thailand for 6 consecutive weeks. At the same time, we are very sorry for not being able to come to Thailand earlier, much as we would like to, due to our busy schedules in Korea. We hope that our Thai fans will support us forever into the future.

SNSD Tiffany Featured in K.Will's new album
Tiffany, who recently featured in Nasun's 'Come to Play', is getting tons of love calls (requests) from male singers to be featured in their album. Tiffany is to be featured in K.Will's new album.
The reason why Tiffany is loved as a 'featuring star' is not only because of her outstanding singing ability but also because her passion and effort are outstanding.
Nasun revealed his satisfaction, "Tiffany practiced the choreography until dawn for the stage even during Gee promotion when she could barely find any free time, and even requested to re-record the song" and added, "because of that, the new and different concept of 'Come to Play' could be accomplished".
K.Will's management said, "As we were preparing for a new album, we pondered which female singer is suitable for featuring, and SNSD's Tiffany came to our mind", and added, "She has the bright and cute image, and has an ability to rap without difficulty. That's why we requested her to be featured in this new album".
SNSD Tiffany shared her thought, "I have a lot to learn still, but if I can deliver even a tiniest help to other singer's song, then I will do my best", and added, "Opportunity to sing with another singer doesn't come often, so it is a fun experience".
[...short: on the other hand, SNSD is doing awesome...]

SNSD Backstage
[Behind the Scenes] What are the Nine SNSD Girls Like Backstage?
“Fighting” before going on stage
It really is ‘Girl Power,’ just like they say. The group So Nyuh Shi Dae, made up of nine cute girls, is blowing away Korea’s entertainment world. Their mini-album title track, “GEE” went on sale this past January, and have been on top on Mnet.com, Bugs, Melon, Cyworld, and other online music charts for two months. On KBS2’s “Music Bank,” they have been placing No. 1 for 8 straight weeks, rewriting Korean pop music history. In the variety world, the girls’ storm is fierce. As they say, “they appear whenever the TV is turned on,” featuring their lively and bubbly characteristics on many talk shows, quiz shows, and game shows, and all different types of shows no matter what the genre is. Not only that, but their “Crab-walk” dance and their alphabet “g” dance is being imitated by the public – male and female, young and old, and by celebrities, so much that they have become the “most imitated.” Also, their colourful skinny-jeans and simple T-shirt stage costumes are becoming a hit on online shopping malls, selling out incredibly fast. Even in the midst of SNSD’s big wave, all nine girls portray a cute, sexy, cool, and friendly personality.
Jessi is...
Then what are the nine girls like when they’re in their waiting rooms, and not on TV or on stage?
To answer this question, each SNSD member took self-cam portraits behind the stage and sent it to Sports Seoul. Recently, in the waiting room at MBC Music Core, they took Polaroid pictures of themselves, capturing their charm, just as it is.
“This is before going on stage~ >.<
It's Hyoyeon >_<+
SNSD is so busy that people say “they appear whenever the TV is turned on,” so the waiting room backstage is the most familiar space to them, besides their dorm. They rest, eat, do makeup, and most importantly wait for their next performance in their waiting room.
That day, SNSD came about 6 hours before their performance to get ready to go on stage. To pass the time and calm their nerves, the members were in the waiting room listening to new music or reading a book while other performers were in rehearsal. The members also chatted with each other to calm their nerves before going up on stage. After camera rehearsals, they didn’t forget to carefully monitor themselves and how the camera would capture them on TV. On this day, the girls were especially lively while they were playing with their self-cam photos. Even Yoona, who was sick with a cold, posed with a V and a smile for the camera, made sure the picture came out pretty, and drew heart and wrote a message on it.
“I caught a cold…” T__T
After finishing rehearsal.. ^^
The girls are already very pretty, but doing their last hair and makeup check before going on air is a must. The girls shared words of encouragement, saying “Yuri, you’re so pretty,” or “Yoona, your makeup turned out really well today,” and when somebody made a joke, everybody burst out in laughter. After a while, it was finally time for all the performing artists to stand on stage for the “deciding time”. Before going up for their ending stage performance and greeting all their fans, the members said, “Okay, let’s enjoy this performance with everything we have,” and gathered their hands together to cheer fighting.
